FileSway reads JPG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, BMP and unlocked PDFs. It can write PNG, JPG, HEIC, TIFF, BMP, PDF, WebP (device dependent), GIF (one still frame, not animation) and ICO (one icon up to 256 px). Import from Photos and Files. Document scan is available on supported devices. You can convert an image to any of those outputs.

Add the HEIC photo from Photos or Files and choose JPG. JPEG is the same format here. One photo to one format is free. Several files in one job need FileSway Pro. Those steps are how you convert HEIC to JPG.

PNG keeps the rendered pixels without lossy compression, but it can’t recreate detail the source has already lost. Choose PNG when you convert an image.

Compress or prepare an unlocked PDF for a size cap of 10, 15, 25, 35 or 50 MB, or a custom size. FileSway can split it into numbered parts if needed, and you can preview the original against the finished file. Compression or splitting can affect forms, links and signatures. Document processing does not upload your files to our servers. Image conversion, PDF tools and OCR run on the device. Cloud file providers, Apple purchases and restore, and links you choose to open can still use the internet. The current version has no advertising or analytics SDK and no account.

Supported metadata is kept by default. You can remove photo metadata, including location or broader supported metadata, when you choose to.

Free is one input and one output per job, with size and adjustment options, without searchable OCR. A multi-page PDF can still produce more than one result file on the free plan. Pro adds batch conversion, multiple output formats per job, and searchable PDFs using on-device OCR. Compare them on the pricing page.

No. FileSway Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase ($14.99 in the U.S.). Prices are set by Apple and can vary by country or region. There is no subscription. Restore purchases is on the Settings screen. Details are on the pricing page.
